Tilly and the Buttons

Has made using my over locker a much better experience and the stitching so much neater. Wish I had purchased it sooner!

I was playing Mrs. Santa Claus with a old costume. The pattern worked perfectly to make a fur collar for the costume.

I took a gamble on making this pattern in jumbo cord and I’m so glad I did. The fabric was lovely to work with and as always the instructions so clear. I feel like I’ve levelled up with this pattern (I think this is my third pair of trousers and it’s definitely the best result so far), and as a newbie sewist still I’m so so proud of myself! Thanks to the TATB team for another great pattern.

Loved this pattern when it was released. Instructions look very clear & love it the fact it’s printed on paper not tissue like mainstream patterns. Haven’t made it up yet but have some fine Albert Moon wool tweed fabric in mind for it. Will post pictures on instagram & tag Tilly & the buttons when completed. I have only made the sweatshirt before where fit is not so important but will definitely make a toile before cutting up the expensive fabric. Looking forward to this project in the new year.

I am new to sewing clothes and felt this pattern might be beyond me. However, I took it step by step and loved making it. I am hooked and looking forward to my next make. I used cotton lawn and it was lovely to work with. Thanks Tilly for understanding how beginners feel!

I've made a couple of these as gifts and for myself and they are great.

Really clear instructions and the outcome is really nice!

Simple and straightforward pattern. I like the shape and coverage for the eyes and adjusted the elastic length to my preference.

I made this as a gift and my recipient loved it. I recommend interfacing both collar pieces as the ruffle inside was quite bulky. Could even add some batting inside for heft. Don’t skip hand stitching closed to make it reversible!

I couldn’t get the corner to turn sharply out but the rounded corner is cute too! If the instructions ever get updated, I recommend using a non-patterned fabric for the guide as I found the busy print a bit hard to decipher, but overall easy enough to follow. Thanks for a great free pattern!!

I used to sew clothes when I was 18yrs now at 54yrs I find myself drawn to these simple easy patterns. The colours and presentation attracted me initially then the simple instructions. I tried the ‘Stretch book’ first then Billy and it’s so easy to sew sweatshirt fabric when you use the right equipment. Jersey is comfy too. I like the easy speed at which the project comes together. I used the short YouTube assistant videos and I watch some of those too before I got started. The people who teach and model and genuine real people who inspire you. It’s easy. Thank you. I’m going to sew more clothes now. Finding my happy place again. ☺️

Haven't got round to using yet but have used the Stevie top several times. Fantastic fit and good quality pattern paper. Very easy to transfer to own size

Made the leggings last year and more recently the Mini Indigo dress from a multi coloured cotton print for my granddaughter. She really liked the leggings and absolutely adores the dress. Will make more when I get time. Instructions are very clear and the suggestions for individualisation are really helpful and inspiring.

The best pj bottom pattern ever, easy to sew and comfortable to wear. So good I made another pair straight after 😀
