WHO IS THE TEACHER?
Sophia Palmer is the owner and creator of Jessalli Handmade, a homewares company in Dorset. She spends her days making personalised, fun and colourful soft furnishings and gifts for all the family. She is mostly self taught and has been stitching since she was 6 years old. After working in a handmade children's clothing company in Sydney, Australia on her gap year, she decided to give her parents cause to panic, and came home to start her own company aged 19! And she hasn't stopped since. Her favourite textile media is free-hand machine embroidery and uses it to create textile art cushions from photographs as well as cute pictures and gifts. As well as leading classes for Tilly and the Buttons, Sophia teaches privately in homes in Dorset.
