Kate is a very knowledgeable garment fitter and also a good teacher. This workshop is highly recommended.

This pattern is easy to put together. The dress can be dressed up for evenings or just a day dress, depending on fabric used. I pair my dress with a wide belt to finish the garment. I used fabric from my stash which was purchased from Seasalt when that company sold fabric. My next dress will be made from Italian cotton.

So I managed to obtain the paper version of the pattern (not sure about PDFs, maybe an age thing!). Had this beautiful coloured fabric already, so decided to try. Button holes, collar and mock seams are all new to me. However, what a breeze this pattern is! Really pleased with the result and compliments already received 😊. Really do like TATB patterns, so true to size, for me anyway. I can see more versions of this jacket on the horizon!

Bought too late this year but have firm plans and fabric set aside to make later this year as have seen so many others make it and it's such a perfect design with glowing reviews by everyone who uses it. Looking forward to making more cosies for next winter 😀

I love love a raglan sweatshirt, so comfy and elevated look with the color blocking, looking forward to make mine.

My very first time making trousers and Thea was such a brilliant pattern to follow. The zipper video was very helpful too. I made the size 4 , in a burgundy cotton twill, and they fit perfectly (I'm a size 12) I made the hems a little deeper so that the legs hang just where I want them. I'll definitely be making these again, in the cropped version next.

Easy to follow, sizing is spot on. Made it twice in one weekend!

Currently tracing out the pattern before checking again my trouser block. The pattern instructions are as always easy to follow and there's plenty of additional help on the website to help resolve any fitting issues. I can't wait to make my toile.

A perfect pinafore, easy to make and easy to wear. The pattern instructions are clear and precise. The finished garment is a delight to wear.

I have made this pattern 4 times now - 3 midi dresses and a straight top. You can get such a different look by changing fabrics and using different sleeve options. This pattern is super versatile and it's easy to make little changes to suit your body and style. Highly recommend having it in your pattern stash.

This free downloadable pattern was my first time using a pdf pattern. It took a few attempts to get the pattern correctly sized but after that it was very straightforward. The instructions were easy to follow and it’s a great way to use up small pieces of fabric.

I’ve just started this workshop. So far so good, Kate comes across as an excellent tutor, I understand everything so far. Let’s hope this continues. This workshop is great value for money & good to be able to keep revisiting when I need to.

I recently made the Nell sewing pattern from Tilly and the Buttons and absolutely loved it. As a confident beginner who is self-taught, I’m improving with every make, and I found this pattern really easy to follow. The instructions were clear and well laid out, which made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. It’s a great pattern for building confidence and skills, I’d definitely recommend it to other beginners looking to level up their sewing. Here i made the straight puffball sleeve version.
