We are not part of the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) VAT scheme.

As of 1 July 2021, European orders are subject to:

  • VAT
  • Customs clearance fees

These charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer.

If customs charges are refused by the customer and parcels are returned, we will offer a full refund of the ordered items, less the delivery fee, provided we receive the package within 30 days of purchase.

If the package needs to be resent, you will be asked to pay the postage fee again.

If you’d like more information, we recommend contacting your local customs office.

We are fully compliant with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and prioritise the safety of our customers. Our paper patterns are made up from a low-risk paper templates and instruction booklet for sewing clothing. However, caution is advised when using related sewing tools:

  • Sharp tools, such as scissors and needles, can cause injury, so handle them with care and keep your hands clear of sharp objects.
  • Children should always be supervised when using sewing equipment.
  • Use appropriate fabrics and wash materials before use to avoid skin irritation.
  • Follow proper techniques to prevent mistakes or injury while sewing, and refer to the included instructions and additional resources for guidance on safe handling.

Safety information will be translated into the customer's language, depending on the destination country of the goods. The product includes a dispatch note with the product SKU number for identification. Additionally, we have systems in place for traceability, with barcodes and batch codes present on the product.

PDF Pattern Delivery

PDF patterns are available to download straight away 🙌

You’ll receive an email as soon as your order is complete, with a link to download your files. You can also access your PDFs from your account order history (if you create an account).

We recommend using Adobe Reader (free to download) on a PC, not a mobile device, to open and print your files at the correct scale.

Check out our in-depth guide to using PDF sewing patterns.

No problem! Create an account to access all your PDF patterns in one place, anytime.

Still stuck? Email us with your order number and we’ll help you out.

Online Workshops

You can start learning immediately after purchase 🎉

Your workshop login details will be emailed to you shortly after checkout. This email is separate from your order confirmation.

If you have purchased workshops previously (using the same email address), you can access newly purchased workshops with the same login credentials and do not need to reset your password.

Login to your online workshop at www.tillyandthebuttonsworkshops.com (We recommend bookmarking this page!)

  • Please allow up to 10 minutes for the email to arrive
  • Check your junk or spam folder
  • Add hello@tillyandthebuttons.com to your safe senders list

If you’re still stuck, contact us with your order number and we’ll be happy to help.

After purchasing your workshop, you’ll receive an email separate to your order confirmation with instructions on how to access your course.

If you can’t find it (or it’s vanished into the email abyss), just follow these steps:

  1. Head to www.tillyandthebuttonsworkshops.com and select 'Login' at the top right
  2. Click “Forgot your password?”
  3. Enter the email address you used at checkout
  4. Click “Get New Password” and check your inbox
  5. Follow the link to set your password and you’re in

Once logged in, you can start your workshop anytime.

If your workshop includes a PDF pattern, we’ll send you a separate email with instant access to your files.

You can also download the workshop pattern files and other resources from the ‘Gather Your Supplies’ module when you log in to the workshop.

Returns

We hope you love your purchase, but if something isn’t right, here’s what to do.

We accept returns on unused, unopened items in their original condition, with proof of purchase.

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of purchase
  • Faulty items can be returned within 30 days for a refund or replacement

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on fabric, ribbon, elastic or supplies cut to order, along with gift wrapping - unless the item is faulty.

Because digital products are available instantly, returns are limited.

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided:

  • The PDF has not been downloaded, or
  • The workshop has not been accessed

Once a download link is clicked or a workshop login is used, the product is considered accessed and refunds may not be available.

If a digital product is faulty, you’re entitled to a repair or replacement. If we can’t resolve the issue within a reasonable time, we may offer a full or partial refund.

Seconds patterns have minor cosmetic imperfections to the envelope only - such as small tears, marks or creases. The pattern sheets and instructions inside are complete and unaffected.

Because these items are discounted seconds, they are non-refundable.

Please download and complete our Cancellation Form.
