GET INSPIRED #SewingBillie
This was the first time of using Tilly patterns. The quality of the pattern is good with clear directions for sewing. The sizing was fine for me, although I did go a size higher because it was a new pattern, but next time I will make it to my size. I did not use sweatshirt material but used Model Jersey also the first time of using a stretch material, but I liked the finished top. For me the neckline was a little high so I will make it of the smallest size next time. Generally I am happy with everything but would like more patterns on dresses WITHOUT gathers as I find some of them too frilly.

I absolutely love TATB patterns! So detailed and easy to use, printed on great quality paper. I have just ordered lots of jersey and French terry to get started on Billie jumpers for myself and my daughters!
Yay, have fun making all the Billies, Suzanne. Team Buttons x
Billie balloon sleeve top in a beautifully soft rayon spandex floral print. Regret not adding the shoulder ruffles. Oh well, next time!

I made Billie using this cute Star Wars fabric. I’m a teacher and the kids love it when I wear quirky prints. They’re going to love this one!
Tilly’s instructions are so easy to follow and the pattern pieces always match perfectly.
Thank you for sharing your make Jane. Hope the kids enjoy the Star Wars print. Team Buttons x
I have loved making this top. I completed it easily within one weekend and the results are great. I'm looking forward to making another with balloon sleeves. I love the versatility of the pattern. My top is thinner than sweatshirt material and this has worked well, I'm keen to make one with lacy sleeves (as I've seen this in some shops), but it can become a sweatshirt as well with the right fabric. Thank you Tilly and the Buttons as always! Such easy instructions and constantly increases my confidence and motivation to sew more.
Thank you for sharing your make Claire. We love the idea for lacy sleeves too. Team Buttons x
