Make your own playful and practical raincoat or cosy duffle to shelter from the elements. Fully lined, Eden has raglan sleeves and thoughtful details like a high neck hood to keep out the wind, practical pockets and a hanging loop.
Choose from hip or long lengths, snaps or toggle fastenings with optional zip, two pocket styles and optional storm flaps. Whether on a weekend walk, at a festival or doing the school run, you can wear your DIY outerwear with pride!
Eden includes jargon-busting instructions, helpful sewing tips, and colour photos showing you each step – making it easy for you to create gorgeous clothes you can be proud to say you made yourself.

DIGITAL PATTERN - You’ll receive an email immediately after purchase with a link to download PDF files of the pattern and instructions, which you can print at home on either A4 or US Letter paper or print at a copy shop using the A0 file. Please read the information about digital pattern delivery before downloading. You will need Adobe Reader to print the pattern to the correct scale - you can download Adobe Reader for free. Alternatively you can order a gorgeous printed pattern to arrive in the post.

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - Medium- to heavy-weight woven fabrics such as wool coating, cotton drill, waxed canvas, Gore-Tex, ripstop, PUL and cotton laminate. For the lining, try viscose, acetate, polyester or cotton lawn, or even low stretch jersey for a casual anorak lining.

Orders by post
Our sewing goodies are hand-picked and packed in our South London studio by either Frances or Kate, who put lots of love and care into each precious parcel that leaves us.
Kate and Frances will aim to get all orders packed and shipped within 3 working days.
We are using Royal Mail who are under extreme pressure during these exceptionally busy times. Please be aware that there may be a delay with Royal Mail during this period. We very much appreciate your patience and understanding and ask that you don’t contact us about receiving your order until 10 working days after the order was placed for the UK customers.
For our International Customers all orders will be sent using Royal Mail's second class service. To Europe please allow 5 to 10 working days for arrival, to the rest of the world 7 to 12 working days. Things can take a little longer to arrive at international destinations, so please allow 30 working days after the order was placed before contacting us.
Customers outside of Europe ordering 3 or more patterns, a signed book and/or fabric or a kit will be sent using Royal Mail's tracked service.

Digital patterns are PDF files delivered to your email instantly, ready for you to print at home (or at the office – ssshhh!) on A4 or US Letter paper. You will also receive the copy shop A0 files for large format printing.
