GET INSPIRED #SewingJessa
I've made two pair of Jessa trousers and they are by far my best looking, most comfortable jeans. I've bought some more denim to make shorts for summer. The instructions were great.
Loved this pattern. I had some really heavy cord and wondered if it would still work given how lightweight the model was wearing, but it worked fine, super comfy and found instructions so easy to follow - even the fly zip! I used thinner material for the waistband facing to reduce bulk, and also added side pockets - really pleased with the result!
I made a pair of Jessa pants for my daughter who wanted a 70s inspired Halloween costume. Had to make some adjustments in the hips and waist for her tween frame but she loved them! Found a great daisy-patterned denim to make them in.
(The smock top is a McCalls pattern).
I just finished my first Jessa longs trousers and I was nicely surprised when I tried them on after finishing them. They fit perfectly and are super comfy. The sewing instructions are clear and easy to follow. I enjoyed sewing them very much. Im looking for the fabric to make a second pair of trousers!!
Thank you Alba for sharing. so pleased you've enjoyed making your first pair of Jessa trousers. Team Buttons x
