MODEL GARMENT SIZES - Jess (white pinafore) is wearing a size 4 (UK 12) at the bust, graded to a size 5 (UK 14) at the waist, and a size 7 (UK 18) at the hips. Rita (floral pinafore) is wearing a size 9 (UK 22) at the bust and waist, graded to a size 10 (UK 24) at the hips.

Great pattern!

I love everything about mine! I swapped a vintage buckle from my stash for the d-rings on the back. I also did a faced hem with a fun contrasting fabric. The only thing that gave me trouble was shortening the zipper because I had the wrong length. Totally impossible. But I got another on in the correct length and it all worked out perfectly.

Now pinafore dress

Loved this pattern when it was released. Instructions look very clear & love it the fact it’s printed on paper not tissue like mainstream patterns. Haven’t made it up yet but have some fine Albert Moon wool tweed fabric in mind for it. Will post pictures on instagram & tag Tilly & the buttons when completed. I have only made the sweatshirt before where fit is not so important but will definitely make a toile before cutting up the expensive fabric. Looking forward to this project in the new year.
