    Gigi eye mask

I am making gift for my niece for the wedding day eve and had decided on a silk eye mask. When I saw a free Tilly and the Buttons patterns I got it straight away. The pattern was emailed really quickly and looking forward to making it using the online instructions. I have just recently purchased the Thea trousers so I am confident the instructions will be easy to follow.

    Makes a nice gift

This pattern is easy to follow and makes a nice gift for someone who needs to sleep during daylight hours, or has a hospital stay. I stitched the padding layer in with the front and facing layers to make sure that the padding didn't move around. I used a thick jersey for padding/wadding and it worked well. I liked the idea for encasing the elastic in fabric which gave a professional finish to the mask. Thank you Tilly.

A perfect project for upcoming travel

A great pattern! I made 3 of these for an upcoming overnight flight to share with me and my family. Instructions are clear, the mask goes together quickly, and the pattern uses such little fabric and elastic that it's an easy scrap-buster. A perfect last-minute project!
