GET INSPIRED #SewingCoco
I haven’t done any dressmaking for 30 years and have completely lost my confidence in my abilities to read a pattern and stitch something
Once cut out, I made the top in a morning, easy to follow directions and I am delighted with it. Even my daughter said oh that looks good!
So must be pretty good, am definitely going to make more
This was the first garment I ever sewed, and couldn't believe how easy it was to sew. I have sewn it over and over again in ponte roma for me and my Mam, with both necklines, as a dress and top. I even altered the pattern to make a velvet ice skating dress out of it. Itis so comfy and flattering to wear.
I made the tunic version with a high collar, in sweat shirt fabric. It was easy to sew and turned out great. I love it, and get lots of compliments.
I absolutely love this top, I’ve made it too many times to count. You will need a medium to heavy weight stretch fabric which will give you a perfect neckline/collar
I have done a muslin practice first and love how easy it was to make alterations. I am so looking foward to useing the material that I bought. Cant wait! I like how easy this pattern is to work with that I am looking forward to makeing more variations of the CoCo,
