Super satisfying!

Great project for a sewing newbie like me. The photos really helped me to understand the instructions. However, it took me a while to figure out how to topstitch the waistband while at the same time stretching the elastic. That was the only real obstacle - other than that, Luella was an absolut pleasure to sew! I'm now toying with the idea of making another one :)

Such an easy pattern to follow. Actually the first #memade in ages I’ve got right , fitted right and feel proud of. I’m looking for my Tilly and the buttons pattern immediately 🤔🤓 but think I may make a few more of these first!

Luella skirt

I really liked making this skirt pattern, especially the alterations, I found very therapeutic. I reduced each tier by 2 1/2 inc as 5ft, the frill is bigger than should have been,next skirt be better. I had to ask for help, thank you for your quick and great response. I am now starting the 3 tier skirt.
