It's that time of year again... If you've got questions about shopping during the busy festive season, read on because we've got answers!

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER BY?

The last day orders will be shipped before we go on Christmas break will be Thursday 21st December.  All our orders are shipped using Royal Mail's second class service.

Shipping will recommence on Thursday 28th December 2023.

Orders can still be placed for all our products. PDF patterns and workshops are processed immediately. Physical orders placed between midday 21st December and 27th December 2023 will not be shipped until we return on the 28th.

Our shipping deadlines are:

Standard (Royal Mail 48/Second Class)

  • 4th December - Shipping to Australia and New Zealand*
  • 7th December - Shipping to Europe* 
  • 7th December - Shipping to USA and Canada* 
  • 18th December - UK orders

International tracked

  • 11th December - Shipping to Australia and New Zealand*^
  • 14th December - Shipping to USA and Canada*^
* Delays can be caused by customs. If your country imposes customs duties, import tax or other fees at the border, these are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact your country’s customs office if you need to know more.
^ Orders containing 3 or more patterns or a book being sent to customers outside of the UK and Europe will be sent tracked. See our delivery terms for more information

We recommend ordering early to ensure your Christmas gift arrives in time.

CAN I ADD GIFT WRAPPING?

YES! We have a cute gift wrap option, perfect for sending pressies directly to your sewing pals! Add gorgeous gift wrapping to your order today.

CAN I ADD A GIFT NOTE?

You can! Leave a message for your sewing pal and we'll pop it in your order at no extra cost.

In your cart (not the checkout), you'll notice a box where you can leave a comment. We'll see your note on the order, print it out and stick it on one of our lovely postcards to pop inside your order, yay!

This option is only available for physical orders, and not PDF or digital orders.

If you want to send a PDF sewing pattern as a gift, we recommend ordering as yourself then forwarding over the separate PDF pattern email you'll receive after your order confirmation email, that way they won't see the invoice and you can add your own message with the email.

 

DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?

Yes, we have a choice of digital e-gift cards and physical gift cards available:

Digital E-Gift Cards:

Our digital E-Gift Cards are available in amounts from £10 up to £250 and have no delivery fees. They are delivered by email and contain instructions for how to redeem them at checkout.

They CAN be used towards an online workshop. Just purchase the corresponding amount (e.g. £59) from the drop down list, and then if you or your lovely friend drops us an email at hello@tillyandthebuttons.com, we'll sort it out pronto!

Physical Gift Cards:

Our specially designed Tilly and the Buttons gift cards are perfect for popping into your Christmas cards or sending to your pals if you don't know which of our sewing patterns they already own.

These gift cards will be sent to your chosen shipping address in a sealed lilac envelope, within our usual hardy recyclable packaging, to make sure they arrive as cute as can be. 

They CAN be used towards an online workshop. Just purchase the corresponding amount (e.g. £59) from the drop down list.
