GET INSPIRED #SewingJaimie
I made Samara X2 first with the online video tutorial which made me feel surprisingly confident for these, . They did come out large, but it may be that I didn't measure myself carefully. Lovely lounge wear and I'm already planning a Luella 😄
Hi there, thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m so happy the video tutorial helped you feel confident, yay! If you want a closer fit next time, you can check the finished garment measurements and take out some of the additional ease. Excited to see your Luella! Happy sewing! Virginija x
Can’t review just yet as I have my jogging pants on my list next.
I have a Q of patterns and a pile of fabric for each one.
If I can come back later I will let you know 😀
Hi Julie, thank you so much for stopping by to leave a note! I totally get it - having a queue of patterns and fabric piles is the best kind of sewing problem! Whenever you’ve made your PJs, I’d love to hear how you get on. :) Happy sewing! Virginija x
Really good pattern. Easy to follow instructions. Completed in a day (I’m a slow sewist). Made 2 pairs to take on holiday out of Indian cotton
Hi Nicola, thank you so much for your lovely review! :) I’m so happy to hear you found the Jaime PJs pattern easy to follow and that you managed to make two pairs - well done! Hope you enjoy wearing them during your holiday! Happy sewing! Virginija x
I really enjoyed making the Jaime trousers I could follow the instructions easily. The video also helped.
Hi Jean, thanks for the review! I'm so glad you enjoyed making the PJs and found the instructions and video helpful. Happy sewing! Virginija x
I’m a late starter to dressmaking having sewn bags, purses etc in the recent past. I took the plunge after recommendations and it was an easy pattern to follow with excellent instructions and photographs in the accompanying booklet. Im so pleased with my first ever attempt and my pyjama bottoms turned out great. The sizing is spot on. I’ll certainly be using patterns from TATB again and recommending them to others. A proper paper pattern, not the tissue type.
Hi Diane, thank you so much for your lovely review! We're thrilled to hear that you found the pattern easy to follow and that your first-ever attempt at dressmaking was such a success - yay! We really appreciate your recommendation and can't wait to see what you make next. :) Happy sewing! Virginija x
