Plus sizes are great

Just to add to my previous comments, I like the plus size patterns as well. My local fabric shop is very judgemental and only stocks small sizes, so it's nice to see plus sizes included in this book

Better than I imagined

So my book arrived today. I'm so happy. It has so much more than I thought it was going to. And I've only had a quick flick through and a look at the patterns but already I'm impressed. It's in easy to understand language and everything is explained. I like the fact there are tutorial videos as well incase I need the extra help.
I'm a total novice and got inspired by Sewing Bee. And out of all the "beginner" things I've looked at, this stood out above the rest.
I've got my reading glasses and tracing paper at the ready (though the patterns are available to download again and again with a code from the book).
I really can't wait to get started.

Make it Simple - a great book!

This is a great book.
Not only packed with lots of lovely patterns (I have picked out 2 to make for my Spring wardrobe) but also lots and lots of very useful sewing tips and techniques.
All written in an easy to understand way which is why I prefer to use T&B patterns.
For me it will be a book I will return to time and time again.

Great book!

I was really looking forward to receiving this book and I wasn’t disappointed! I got myself a cuppa and read it from cover to cover! So many tips and interesting information, as we all have come to expect from Tilly. I looked at the patterns in the back and thought I’d never be able to trace them! But you just have to get your “ eye “ in and concentrate! As yet I haven’t made anything as I have tendinitis of my thumb and out of action for a while. But I really want to make a jumpsuit using the playsuit pattern.
