    Gigi eye mask

I am making gift for my niece for the wedding day eve and had decided on a silk eye mask. When I saw a free Tilly and the Buttons patterns I got it straight away. The pattern was emailed really quickly and looking forward to making it using the online instructions. I have just recently purchased the Thea trousers so I am confident the instructions will be easy to follow.

    Makes a nice gift

This pattern is easy to follow and makes a nice gift for someone who needs to sleep during daylight hours, or has a hospital stay. I stitched the padding layer in with the front and facing layers to make sure that the padding didn't move around. I used a thick jersey for padding/wadding and it worked well. I liked the idea for encasing the elastic in fabric which gave a professional finish to the mask. Thank you Tilly.
