I’m pretty new at sewing and decided I wanted to use this pattern to make a new bikini for an upcoming trip. This is my first time sewing a bathing suit and this pattern taught me several new skills. I found this pattern very approachable and there was only one step that gave me pause (the ruffles). Even being so new and slow, I got this done in under a week, just in time for my trip. I really like this bathing suit and I already have plans to make another.

Shop bought swimsuits which fit well are difficult for me to find. I have hips, a relatively small waist, small back and boobs!! I’ve managed to grade this to a perfect fit using the useful information in the pattern. I love it!!

I'm really excited to get this pattern. It has got so many options and the sewing tutorial that you can purchase as well has some great hacking ideas. Now if only I had more time......
